The Health Department offers assessment, treatment and education about sexually transmitted diseases (STD), also called sexually transmitted infections (STI). Testing is available on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm.
When you come in you will need to pay an office visit fee based on a sliding scale. You will need to bring a photo ID and your most recent pay stub or tax return. By showing proof of your income, you may be eligible for a discount. If you come to the clinic without proof of income, you will be charged full price for the visit.
If you have questions about which tests you might need or how much the fee will be for testing, please call the Health Department at (573) 581-1332.
STDs are preventable. Here's what you need to know to keep yourself and your partner(s) safe.
Sexual health is not just the absence of disease, it is the state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality.
STIs are among the most common infections today. Ask your doctor which STI tests are right for you.
